AI SL and HL: choose the right depth

Both AI SL and AI HL study all five topic areas and complete a mathematical exploration. SL is designed for 150 recommended teaching hours, including the exploration, while HL is designed for 240 hours and develops the content in greater breadth and depth. AI HL also includes a third external examination paper, so an HL class needs resources that go beyond an SL-only bundle.

Look for “SL only”, “HL” or “SL/HL” in each product title and description. A combined SL/HL resource can help teachers share a common sequence while extending examples, modelling and problem-solving for HL students. An SL-only pack is the more focused choice when no HL class is being taught. Course level is not inferred at checkout, so confirm the label before adding a product to your cart.
